Dear Friends,

The arrival of the rain carries with it the coming of a new spring season for us all, and we could be not be any more excited here at MºBrann!!!!  We have many fun and exciting new (and returning!) products trickling in each day.  Our very popular  "BeachStone" runners, place mats, coasters, and floor mats have finally arrived, now available in 3 natural tones to choose from: white, sand and gray.  We look forward to seeing you because they won't last long!!!

Dear Friends,

 One thing that strikes my mind is how we as a society are constantly hearing about “being green, eco-friendly and fair-wage conscience”. This is so important in our world today.  We at M·Brann have always embraced these issues throughout the store with the products we carry even including our eco-friendly packaging.  We’ve never really been very preachy about our commitment to being green, we have have just embraced it as our way of doing business.  I have always been drawn to repurposed and recycled items.

 One of the first lines I carried when I opened my doors, 15 years ago was “yardbirds”; the funky birds that live outside our doors all year long are made from recycled tool parts.  I have always been fascinated with the vision of finding new lives for discarded items.  As many of you may remember, I recycled and repainted furniture, did reverse painting on old windows, and featured Vintage finds and have constantly brought in items that tickled my repurposing, recycling green bone!  What I really love is tickling your funny bones and curiosity with my choices.  We will start to label our “green choices”. Now that it has become mainstream, you can become green, eco-friendly shoppers along with us and have as much fun as we have had doing this for years.  

 From the very beginning we have searched out and supported small artisans and companies that created sustainable lives for artisans around the world. We will begin to point these out to you.  However, more importantly, we’ll continue to remind you that life is too short to be taken too seriously.  We can all mix whimsy and tradition, humor and sophistication and fun with good deeds.  Please join M·Brann & Co., as we continue to be  a fun, sophisticated shopping experience that allows you to  always, “gift outside the box”! Thank you for supporting us and laughing with us during the past 15 wonderful years, and we look forward to sharing many more years with you.

Our "Girl's Nite In" was a success as always!  Congratulations to our winners of the raffles held that evening!!!  Thank you to all of our fabulous customers for coming out to support such a wonderful cause, we at M·Brann really appreciate it.   We hope everyone will stop by to check out our fun holiday windows (don't forget to vote for us for the 2007 Mashpee Commons "Best Window") along with lots of new holiday items.  We will help you get a head start on all our your holiday shopping.  We offer complimentary gift wrapping, corporate gift giving, along with personal shopping to help you select that perfect gift for that perfect person!!!  Look forward to seeing you soon!

  "Girl's Nite In" at Mashpee Commons is November 13th, 4-8pm.

 This is the Mashpee Commons kickoff event for the "Go Red for Women" campaign sponsored by the American Heart Association.  This will be our 2nd annual event for such a wonderful cause.  We would love for you to come join us for an evening of laughs, snicky snacks, shopping, and being part of a such a special cause. What is really exciting this year is our neighbors, The Write Choice and Elfstone Silver and Gold have agreed to join us.  Some additional stores  may also participate.  During "Girls Nite In" there will be lots of heart healthy information!

• As always tickets are $15.00 (admits 2) and you will receive 15% off your purchases that evening (some small exclusions apply).  Your ticket allows entry to all participating stores.  Tickets can be purchased in store or call/email us to reserve tickets for the event.

We just got in a great selection of our favorite rugs, Tabula Tua at M·Brann! These rugs are fabulous for any home even one that has high traffic, pets, and children. We at M·Brann have these rugs in our homes so from experience we know just how durable they actually are! They are machine washable and well worth the investment.  If you are looking to add a little color and fun to any room in your home Tabula Tua rugs are the perfect accent piece!  They sell out very quickly, come in to M·Brann at the Mashpee Commons to see the new designs, also if you are interested in the rugs but aren't local well will gladly email you designs and ship any rugs to you.  (the selection is limited and sells very quickly so they are only sold in store only)

New to M·Brann KEM Designs Beach Stone Jewelry.  

"I have lived on the Cape for 22 years and have always had an insatiable love of the sea.  I seldom return home without a pocket full of stones.  Several years ago my connection with stones advanced to a new level. Harvesting Cape Cod Beach Stones has become my passion.  My designs transform them from a place in the waves to a new palette of silver and leather. I do not tumble them or alter them in any way other than drilling a hole or an occasional engraving.  Mother Nature provides the smoothing and polishing. Each of my pieces is unique to itself as no two stones are ever identical." (KEM)

As you may know M·Brann has what we call "Girl's Nite In", this is a fun, festive, private evening with friends, shopping, snicky snacks, and laughs.  We are now booking our fall parties here at M·Brann or at your home for a more intimate setting.  If you are a local charity and looking to raise some money or you just want to get together a group of friends give us a call at M·Brann for more information on the details.  "Girl's Nite In"  is a wonderful evening everyone will enjoy!
